This is product is discontinued and does not have a replacement yet. New product in development. What does that mean?
If you've wired up your ZEN31, but the LED indicator is not lighting up, and the unit is unresponsive, then here are a few things you can try:
- Make sure you're using an appropriate power supply!
- The ZEN31 should be powered by a 2A rated 12 VDC Power Supply.
- Battery based power supplies cannot be used with any of our devices.
- The RGBW Dimmer cannot be powered by any type of dimmable transformer. Since the ZEN31 is a dimming device, connecting it to another dimmable device could cause one or both devices to be damaged. The ZEN31 needs a constant voltage power supply, that is not dimmable.
- If you've got the right power supply, double check your wiring for any loose connections.
- If that doesn't help, try another approved power supply to rule out any issues with the original.
- Verify that the connected load is compatible with the RGBW Dimmer. The maximum load is 10 A TOTAL between all channels (6 A per channel max); 120 W total at 12 V DC / 240 W total at 24 V DC.
- If you're still unable to find the source of the issue after this, please try factory resetting the ZEN31:
- Press and hold the Z-Wave button to enter reset mode, then release the button when the LED indicator glows yellow.
- Then quickly click the Z-Wave button again to confirm factory reset. Wait a few seconds until the device resets and restarts - the LED indicator will light up in red when it’s ready.
If you've tried all of the above and none of it helps, please reach out to us! Our team will be happy to help.
