Make sure the battery tabs have been removed in order to power your Remote Switch.
You'll want to use the included triangle tool to gently open the remote and access the batteries. If you remove the battery tabs and see no LED activity whatsoever, make sure the batteries are oriented properly.
If you find the remote is still unresponsive after double checking the batteries, try the device with fresh batteries if you have some on hand. If the device starts working with new batteries, the issue was probably caused by batteries drained in transit from the factory.
If the remote shows some LED activity, but is unresponsive in other ways - won't wake up, include, or exclude it from your system - then you'll need to perform a factory reset. The process will erase all previous activity and custom rules from the device. Here's how to reset your ZEN34 Remote Switch.
