This is product is discontinued and replaced with ZSE70.
So you made a change to the advanced settings, but they haven't taken effect or your hub shows a pending change? You may need to wake your sensor manually!
The sensor’s wake-up interval is set to 4 hours by default to save battery life. You can change the wake-up interval in advanced settings as long as they are available in your system. During wake-up, the sensor receives communication from the hub (setting updates or network information). A long wake-up interval will not affect how often the sensor reports motion or vibration to your gateway (hub). . You may need to wake the sensor up manually if it doesn’t fully configure during set-up (status is not displayed or errors pop up in your hub’s interface) or if you change advanced settings for the sensor and want them to update immediately.
Here's how to manually wake the ZSE29 Outdoor Sensor to receive any communication from the hub and have parameter changes take effect immediately:
- Take out and re-insert the batteries to wake the sensor up manually.
- During wake-up, the sensor turns the Z-Wave radio on for 10 seconds to receive communication from the hub.
