The ZEN37 Wall Remote will work with your Hubitat hub out of the box once integration is complete, but you may need to install the custom device driver to access the advanced settings.
If the settings don't show up right away, we recommend making sure your Hubitat hub is running on the latest platform version before installing the ZEN37 Custom Driver. It will let you change the advanced settings of your ZEN37 Wall Remote. Here are the steps for installing the driver for Hubitat:
-
Open Hubitat in your browser.
-
Click on Drivers Code in the side menu.
-
In the top right corner, click on "+New Driver" and paste the code from the following link. Please click on this link to access the code for the driver, then copy ALL of the code from the page.
-
Click Save in the top right corner.
-
You'll see a "Zooz ZEN37 Wall Remote Advanced" driver in your Drivers Code list now.
-
Now add your device to Hubitat or if you already have, assign the driver to it by going to the device view and selecting the driver name from the drop-down menu under Device Type. Then click Update Device.
-
Don't skip this step: Click the Configure button, then Save, and reload the device view or refresh page for all of the new settings to appear.
The advanced driver does allow 4-tap and 5-tap control of the ZEN37 in Hubitat, but it needs to be programmed in the Rule Machine if you select custom attribute as the trigger.
If you prefer not to use the custom driver, you can try out this Z-Wave Universal Device Scanner to access any parameters that may not be available yet in the custom driver. Please note that use of this driver is intended for expert users; use at your own risk: https://community.hubitat.com/t/release-z-wave-universal-device-scanner/97912
