The ZEN20 Power Strip will be recognized correctly on the Z-Box, out of the box. No need to install any custom drivers! Just plug in the device, then follow the steps below to add the device to your Z-Box hub. You can add a new device via the web interface, or the mobile app. Check out the simple inclusion instructions below!
Follow the steps below to add the ZEN20 from the Z-Box web interface:
- From the sidebar navigation menu of the Z-Box web interface, go to Settings by clicking on the gear icon.
- You will be redirected to the Devices menu.
- Click on + Add device.
- Select the Z-Wave Device option.
- Be prepared to start inclusion on the ZEN20. Click Start.
- While the hub is in inclusion mode, press and release the CH1 button 3 TIMES QUICKLY (all LED indicators will start flashing).
- Once the device is detected successfully, you will see the list of all child devices that have been detected. Click Next.
- Rename your device and assign it to a room. Click Next.
- Click Finish once done editing all devices.
How to add the ZEN20 from the Z-Box Hub mobile app
- Open the Z-Box Hub app on your mobile device.
- Click More in the bottom navigation menu.
- Click on + Add Devices.
- Click on Z-Wave Protocol and follow the same inclusion steps as described for the WEB UI above.
* If you’re using an S2 hub, it will ask you to enter the DSK PIN or scan the QR code printed on the plug.
