This is product is discontinued and replaced with ZSE70.
The ZSE29 Outdoor Motion Sensor will connect to Hubitat immediately from the box because it is officially integrated.
The ZSE29 supports S2 Smart Start so for Hubitat C-7 hubs only, you'll want to select Include without security and add the ZSE29 without security to successfully add the device. If you're using an older generation of the Hubitat hub, you don't have to worry about this step as the older hubs do not support S2 security.
*If you’re using an S2 hub, it may ask you to enter the DSK key printed on the back cover sticker to complete secure inclusion.
You’ll be able to pair your device via auto or manual inclusion using the step-by-step instructions below:

If the Outdoor Motion Sensor is having problems connecting to your hub, you may need to try putting it through the exclusion process first. It’s a process that will help the sensor configure properly, even if it’s never been added to a network. You’ll also have access to the sensor’s advanced settings. If you don’t see a way to change settings in the device view on Hubitat, check if your hub platform is operating on the latest version before trying this Z-Wave parameter tool to access the settings.
Reach out to us if your ZSE29 still can’t pair with your network.
