This is product is discontinued and replaced with ZSE70.
You’ll be able to use the ZSE29 Outdoor Motion Sensor out of the box since it’s officially integrated with Hubitat but you'll need a custom driver if you'd like to access the advanced settings available for ZSE29 VER. 2.0 and higher.
Below are the steps on how to install the driver and where to find it. It's an easy copy-and-paste process that shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes!
-
Open Hubitat in your browser.
-
Click on Drivers Code in the side menu.
-
In the top right corner, click on "+New Driver" and paste the code from the following link to access the code for the driver, then copy ALL of the code from the page.
-
Click Save in the top right corner.
-
You'll see a "Zooz Outdoor Motion Sensor Advanced" driver in your Drivers Code list now.
-
Assign the driver to the device by opening to the device view and selecting the "Zooz Outdoor Motion Sensor Advanced" from the drop-down menu under Device Type.
-
Click Update Device.
-
Don't skip this step: Click the Configure button, then Save, and reload the device view or refresh page for all of the new settings to appear.
-
You should now see all of the advanced settings in your device view in the HE online interface. Remember to wake the device up by clicking the tamper switch 3 times as quickly as possible for the settings to update right away. Otherwise, they will be updated the next time the sensor wakes up a few hours later.
If you prefer not to use the custom driver, you can try out this Z-Wave Universal Device Scanner to access any parameters that may not be available yet in the custom driver. Please note that use of this driver is intended for expert users; use at your own risk: https://community.hubitat.com/t/release-z-wave-universal-device-scanner/97912
