How to Add the ZEN26 On/Off Switch to Home Assistant

The ZEN26 has been discontinued and replaced with the ZEN76.

Zooz products are now officially integrated with the Z-Wave JS integration of Home Assistant. If you're experiencing issues with accessing the advanced settings of your ZEN26 we would recommend first updating to the JS integration then excluding and re-including your device to your network in order for it to be recognized correctly.

Once you've wired up your switch and confirmed that it works 100% of a time as a manual switch, it's time to add it to your network.

In Home Assistant: open Settings > Devices & Services > Z-Wave.
Click Add Device > Search for Device.
Tap the UPPER paddle 3 times as quickly as possible (LED indicator will start flashing)
Home Assistant will confirm that the switch was added, and it will be immediately visible in your device list.

Once the switch has been added to your hub, you'll be able to create rules for it, control it remotely, and customize it via the advanced settings.

If you are having issues adding the switch to your network, the first thing to try is exclusion which is a type of soft Z-Wave reset.
