For the new 800 series ZSE11, you will need to install the custom driver to ensure proper motion reporting.
You should first check if your Hubitat platform is up-to-date on its platform version.
Then, use the steps here to install the community driver to adjust the settings for your ZSE11:
-
Open Hubitat in your browser.
-
Click on Drivers Code in the side menu.
-
In the top right corner, click on "+New Driver" and paste the code from the following link to access the code for the driver, then copy ALL of the code from the page.
-
Click Save in the top right corner.
-
You'll see a Zooz ZSE11 (Q Sensor) in your Drivers Code list now.
-
Assign the driver to the device by opening to the device view and selecting the Zooz ZSE11 (Q Sensor) from the drop-down menu under Device Type.
-
Click Update Device.
-
IMPORTANT: Click the Configure button and refresh the page in your browser for all of the settings to display.
-
You will now see the additional setting display in the device view in Hubitat where you can customize the sensor.
-
Once done with any settings changes, click Update Device again.
-
Remember to triple click the Z-Wave button to wake the sensor up so the new settings take right away. Otherwise, they'll update once the sensor wakes up automatically a few hours later.
If you prefer not to use the custom driver, you can try out this Z-Wave Universal Device Scanner to access any parameters that may not be available yet in the custom driver. Please note that use of this driver is intended for expert users; use at your own risk: https://community.hubitat.com/t/release-z-wave-universal-device-scanner/97912
