Add Your ZSE11 Q Sensor as Signal Repeater on USB Power

You can use the ZSE11 Q Sensor as a signal repeater in your Z-Wave mesh network if it's powered by a micro USB cable.

Here is how to do that:

  1. Connect the sensor to a micro USB cable and a matching power adapter (a regular  5V / 1A power supply will work best)
  2. Bring it near the location you'll be using it so the hub forms the most efficient communication route right away
  3. Put your controller into inclusion/add mode
  4. Click the Z-Wave button 3 times as quickly as possible. The LED indicator will start blinking to confirm inclusion mode and turn off once inclusion is completed. The sensor will automatically pair as a repeater if connected to USB power, no special button sequence required.

If the sensor isn't found or doesn't include, perform factory reset and try adding it again. Check out other troubleshooting articles for the ZSE11 Q Sensor here.
