This is product is discontinued and replaced with ZSE11.
Here is a full list of advanced settings (parameters) for the ZSE40 700 Series 4-in-1 Sensor on firmware 1.10:
Temperature Sensor
Parameter 1: Set the temperature unit for your sensor. NOTE: many home automation platforms will automatically adjust the reporting unit for you based on your general platform or device settings which will override this parameter so please make sure you check these settings as well.
Values: 0 – Celsius; 1 – Fahrenheit (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Parameter 2: Set the reporting threshold for temperature. The sensor will report new temperature value to the hub whenever temperature changes by the number of degrees entered as value.
Values: 1 - 50 (where 1 stands for 0.1 degree and 50 stands for 5 degrees). Default: 1 degree (value 10).
Size: 1 byte dec
Humidity Sensor
Parameter 3: Set the reporting threshold for relative humidity. The sensor will report new temperature value to the hub whenever relative humidity changes by the percentage entered as value.
Values: 1 - 50 (%). Default: 10.
Size: 1 byte dec
Light Sensor
Parameter 4: Set the reporting threshold for brightness level. The sensor will report new brightness value to the hub whenever relative light level changes by the percentage entered as value. NOTE: the sensor reports the light level to the hub in percentage which is then converted to lux on select platforms (100% daylight is the equivalent to around 50 lux so it will max out at this value).
Values: 5 - 50 (%). Default: 10.
Size: 1 byte dec
Motion Sensor
Parameter 5: Set motion clear time for the delay before the sensor reports no motion to the hub and associated devices after detecting the last motion activity.
Values: 15 - 255 (seconds). Default: 15.
Size: 1 byte dec
Parameter 6: Set motion sensitivity for the motion detector to minimize false alerts.
Values: 1 – 7 where 1 is the most sensitive and 7 is the least sensitive. Default: 3.
Size: 1 byte dec
LED Indicator Mode
Parameter 7: Select the LED indicator mode that best fits your needs. NOTE: Mode 2 will increase activity and reduce battery life.
Values:
1 – LED indicator is turned off (no visual notifications).
2 – temperature and motion indicated with flashing light. Flashes every 3 minutes for temperature.
3 – no indication for temperature, motion indicated with red flashing light (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Basic Set Reports
Parameter 8: Disable Basic Set reports sent to the hub when motion is detected to reduce Z-Wave activity from the sensor.
Values:
0 – Basic Set reports disabled.
1 – Basic Set reports enabled (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Temperature Offset
Parameter 9: Set the reporting offset on your temperature sensor.
Values: 0 - 200 (degrees Fahrenheit, where value 0 equals -10 degrees, value 100 equals 0 degrees, and value 200 equals +10 degrees).
Default: 100.
Size: 1 byte dec
Humidity Offset
Parameter 10: Set the reporting offset on your humidity sensor.
Values: 0 - 200 (%, where value 0 equals -10%, value 100 equals 0%, and value 200 equals +10%). Default: 0.
Default: 100.
Size: 1 byte dec
How to read LED indicator colors?
Green = under 60°F
Blue = 60°-75°F
Yellow = 75°-83°F
Purple = 83°-97°F
Red = over 97°F / motion detected / tamper switch triggered
Single red flash = motion detected
Flashing red (3-4 flashes at a time) = low battery
Click the Z-Wave button with a paperclip once to wake the sensor up after updating the settings so they can be immediately received and saved.
