By default, the LED indicators on the ZEN32 buttons will be off when they are on, and on when the buttons are off.
If you're not seeing the LEDs light up at all, but still able to control any load that is connected to the relay or programmed to the buttons, then it's possible you'll need to change some settings.
You'll need to access the advanced settings and parameter input via your hub, as the ZEN32 does not have a way to manually change the LED indicator statuses like some of our other models. Here's how you can adjust the advanced settings depending on your hub:
SmartThings:
You'll want to make sure you have the two custom device handlers needed in order to have the device recognized correctly, and access to all of the ZEN32's settings. Once installed:
- Click on the ZEN32 Scene Controller in your app
- Tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the app
- Tap Settings
- Change the setting to enable the LED indicator when the relay and buttons are on or off. Each button on the device can be programmed differently.
Vera:
- Open your Vera online interface
- Click on the ZEN32 Scene Controller
- Go to Device Options
- Click on "Add configuration settings"
-
To change LED Indicator mode for relay:
-
Variable = 1 [Choose if you want the LED indicator to turn on when the relay is on or off, or if you want it to remain on or off at all times.]
-
Data Size = 1 byte dec
-
Desired Value = [0 - 3. Default set to 0] (0 – LED on when relay off, LED off when relay on (default) ; 1 – LED on when relay on, LED off when relay off; 2 – LED always off; 3 – LED always on)
-
- Click on Save Changes
See full list of advanced settings for additional button variables.
