LED Indicator Behavior

Parameter 1: Decide how the LED indicator behaves depending on the on/off status of the plug. The LED indicator will flash green twice to confirm a setting has been changed.

Values: 0 – LED indicator is on when the plug is on, LED indicator is off when the plug is off; 1 – LED indicator is on when the plug is off, LED indicator is off when the plug is on; 2 – LED indicator is always off; 3 - LED indicator is always on (value 3 available only on the 800 series). Default: 0.

Size: 1 byte dec

NOTE: Click the Z-Wave button 6 times quickly to toggle between the values of this parameter manually from the device.

Auto-off Timer

Parameter 2: Auto-off timer will automatically turn the Smart Plug off after X minutes once it has been turned on. The number entered as value corresponds to the number of minutes.

Values: 0 - timer disabled; 1-65535 (minutes). Default: 0.

Size: 4 byte dec

Auto-on Timer

Parameter 4: Auto-on timer will automatically turn the Smart Plug on after X minutes once it has been turned off. The number entered as value corresponds to the number of minutes.

Values: 0 - timer disabled; 1-65535 (minutes). Default: 0.

Size: 4 byte dec

On/Off Status After Power Failure

Parameter 6: Choose the recovery state for your Smart Plug if power outage occurs.

Values: 0 – always off once restored; 1 – always on once restored; 2 – remembers and restores status. Default: 2.

Size: 1 byte dec

LED Brightness Level

Parameter 7: Choose the LED indicator brightness level.

Values: 0 - high; 1 - medium; 2 - low. Default: 2.

Size: 1 byte dec

NOTE: Click the Z-Wave button 8 times quickly to toggle between the values of this parameter manually from the device. It will cycle through the values. The LED will flash green twice to confirm a successful brightness change.

Disable Manual Control

Parameter 8: Disable or enable manual control (turning the Smart Plug on and off using the physical button). If this parameter is set to 0 (disabled), you will only be able to turn the outlet on or off remotely using your Z-Wave hub.

Values: 0 - manual control disabled; 1 - manual control enabled. Default: 1.

Size: 1 byte dec

The following parameters are applicable ONLY to the ZEN05 800LR

There were hardware changes made between the versions and these parameters do not apply to the 700 series ZEN05.

Watt Report Threshold

Parameter 9: Choose when the plug will report Watts to your hub. Value 1 = 1 Watt change.

Choose how you want your Smart Plug to report power consumption to your hub. The number entered as value corresponds to the number of Watts the appliance needs to go over for the change to be reported. So if 5W are entered by default, the Smart Plug will report any change in power usage over 5W (whether it's at least 5W more or 5W less compared to the previous report).

Values: 0 – trigger disabled; 1 – 100 Default: 5.

Size: 1 byte dec

Watt Report Frequency

Parameter 10: Decide how often the plug will report Watt data to the hub (in minute intervals). The number entered as value corresponds to the number of minutes. So if 5 is entered by default, the Smart Plug will report power consumption (Wattage) every 5 minutes.

Values: 1 – 65535. Default: 5 minutes.

Size: 4 bytes dec

Amp Report Threshold

Parameter 11: Choose when the plug will report Amps to your hub.

The number entered as value corresponds to the number of Amps the appliance needs to go over for the change to be reported. Value 1 equals 0.1 A and value 50 equals 5 A. So if value 1 is entered by default, the Smart Plug will report any change in electrical current over 0.1 Amps (whether it's at least 0.1 A more or 0.1 A less compared to the previous report).
Values: 0 – trigger disabled; 1 – 50 (1 = 0.1A and 50 = 5A). Default: 1 (0.1A).

Size: 1 byte dec

kWh Report Threshold

Parameter 12: Choose when the plug will report kWh to your hub.

The number entered as value corresponds to the number of kWh the appliance needs to go over for the change to be reported. Value 1 equals 0.01 kWh and value 200 equals 2 kWh. So if value 1 is entered by default, the Smart Plug will report any change in energy use over 0.01 kWh (whether it's at least 0.01 kWh more or 0.01 kWh less compared to the previous report).
Values: 0 – trigger disabled; 1 – 200 (1 = 0.01 kWh and 200 = 2kWh) Default: 1 (0.01 kWh).

Size: 1 byte dec

Disable Watt Reports

Parameter 13: Disable or enable power wattage reports sent from the plug.

No power wattage reports from the device connected to the plug will be sent back to the hub if power wattage monitoring is disabled. Use this option to minimize the amount of reports you want the receive from the smart plug.

Values: 0 – Watt reports enabled; 1 – Watt reports disabled. Default: 0.

Size: 1 byte dec

Disable Amp Reports

Parameter 14: Disable or enable electrical current reports sent from the plug.

No electrical current reports from the device connected to the plug will be sent back to the hub if electrical current monitoring is disabled. Use this option to minimize the amount of reports you want the receive from the smart plug.

Values: 0 – Amp reports enabled; 1 – Amp reports disabled. Default: 0.

Size: 1 byte dec

Amp Report Frequency

Parameter 15: Decide how often the plug will report Amp data to the hub (in minute intervals). The number entered as a value corresponds to the number of minutes. So if 60 is entered, the Plug will report electrical current values (Amperes) every 60 minutes.

Values: 1 – 65535 Minutes. Default: 60.

Size: 4 byte dec

Volt Report Frequency

Parameter 16: Decide how often the plug will report Volt data to the hub (in minute intervals). The number entered as a value corresponds to the number of minutes. So if 60 is entered, the Plug will report Voltage values (Volts) every 60 minutes.

Values: 0 – voltage reports disabled; 1 - 65535. Default: 60.

Size: 4 byte dec

kWh Report Frequency

Parameter 17: Decide how often the plug will report kWh data to the hub (in minute intervals).

The number entered as a value corresponds to the number of minutes. So if 60 is entered by default, the Plug will report energy consumption (kWh) every 60 minutes.

Values: 1 – 65535. Default: 60.

Size: 4 byte dec

Disable kWh Reports

Parameter 18: Disable or enable kWh reports sent from the plug.

No kWh reports from the device connected to the plug will be sent back to the hub if kWh monitoring is disabled. Use this option to minimize the amount of reports you want to receive from the smart plug.

Values: 0 – kWh reports enabled; 1 – kWh reports disabled. Default: 0.
