ZEN55 Smoke & CO Detector Bridge Advanced Settings

Here is a full list of advanced settings (parameters) for the ZEN55 Smoke & CO Detector Bridge:

LED Indicator

Parameter 1: Choose if you want the LED to indicate the on/off status of the connected load or if you want it to remain on or off at all times. 

Values: 0 – LED always off 1 – LED on when load on, LED off when load off. Default: 1.

Size: 1 byte dec

Input Trigger

Parameter 2: Choose if the relay on the ZEN55 should turn the connected load on automatically when alarm is detected on the input side. 
Values: 0 – input trigger disabled; 1 – input trigger enabled. 2 - Relay follows Smoke Notification only; 3 - Relay follows CO Notification only. Default: 1.

Auto Turn-Off Timer

Parameter 3: Auto-off timer will automatically turn the relay off after x seconds once it has been turned on.
Values: 0 – timer disabled; 1 – 4294967295 (seconds). Default: 0.
Size: 4 byte dec

Auto Turn-On Timer

Parameter 4: Auto-on timer will automatically turn the relay on after x seconds once it has been turned off.

Values: 0 – timer disabled; 1 – 4294967295 (seconds). Default: 0.
Size: 2 byte dec

On / Off Status After Power Failure

Parameter 5: Set the on/off status for the relay after power failure.

Values: 0 – always off once restored; 1 – always on once restored; 2 – remembers and restores status. Default: 2.

Size: 1 byte dec

Group 2 Basic Set Reporting

Parameter 6: Basic Set values sent by the ZEN55 for smoke / no smoke events sent to devices associated in Group 2. 

Values: 0 -Basic Set 0xFF (ON) for smoke / Basic Set 0x00 (OFF) for no smoke; 1 -Basic Set 0x00 for smoke / Basic Set 0xFF for no smoke; 2 -Basic Set 0xFF for smoke / No reports for no smoke; 3 -Basic Set 0x00 for smoke / No reports for no smoke; 4 -No reports for smoke / Basic Set 0x00 for no smoke; 5 -No reports for smoke / Basic Set 0xFF for no smoke. Default: 0.

Group 3 Basic Set Reporting

Parameter 7: Decide when the device will send BASIC_SET commands to devices associated in Group 3 (CO Alarm).

Values: 0 -Basic Set 0xFF (ON) for CO / Basic Set 0x00 (OFF) for no CO; 1 -Basic Set 0x00 for CO / Basic Set 0xFF for no CO; 2 -Basic Set 0xFF for CO / No reports for no CO; 3 -Basic Set 0x00 for CO / No reports for no CO; 4 -No reports for CO / Basic Set 0x00 for no CO; 5 -No reports for CO / Basic Set 0xFF for no CO. Default: 0.

Disable Sensor / Relay

Parameter 8: After changing this parameter and re-inclusion, the device will show up as a switch, which can be controlled via Z-Wave.

Values: 1 – Enable smoke and CO sensor endpoints / disable relay endpoint; 2 – Enable CO sensor endpoint / disable smoke sensor and relay endpoints; 3 – Enable smoke sensor endpoint / disable CO sensor and relay endpoints; 4 – Enable smoke sensor, CO sensor, and relay endpoints (all endpoints enabled); 5 – Enable relay and CO sensor endpoints / disable smoke sensor endpoint; 6 – Enable relay and smoke sensor endpoints / disable CO sensor endpoint; 7 – Enable relay endpoint / disable CO and smoke sensor endpoints. Default: 1.

NOTE: You need to exclude and re-include the device to your hub or re-configure (re-interview) the device if the value of this setting is changed.

Relay Status Report Type

Parameter 9: Choose the input (DC signal) and Z-Wave triggers for the relay to send a status change report to the hub. 

Values: 0 – Binary Switch reports for both Z-Wave and input (sensor) control; 1 – Binary Switch reports for Z-Wave control and Basic Reports for input control; 2 – Basic Reports for both Z-Wave and input (sensor) control. Default: 0.
