The ZSE70 Outdoor Motion Sensor is fully sealed, including its 12-24 V terminals. We include a set of accessories that will make it easier to have your sensor powered with a 12-24 V source while it keeping it waterproof. Here are the step-by-step installation instructions for this scenario.

What you'll need:

1. The Zooz ZSE70 Outdoor Motion Sensor with all accessories.
2. An existing 12-24 V (AC or DC) power source, like a power adapter or low-voltage connection. Do NOT connect to 120 V!
3. Small flat head screwdriver.
4. Around 5 minutes to complete the installation!

How to install 12-24 V power source on the ZSE70 Outdoor Motion Sensor:

1. Unscrew the head cap from the bottom of the sensor.
2. That will expose the wire terminals.
3. Then take out the top cap from the accessory kit.
4. Press out the outline button inside.
5. Thread your wires through the accessories in this specific order:
6. First the dome cap, then the rubber seal, and finally the frilled spacer.
7. Next, insert your wires into the push-tab terminals.
8. Press down on the exposed plastic to open the terminal.
9. Insert the wires checking the correct polarity.
10. Make sure the wires are secured.
11. Cover the wires with the spacer. The seal goes inside of the spacer.
12. Twist the dome cap over the spacer to secure the installation.
