But wait! Does your switch work 100% of the time when controlled manually?

If not, let's find out how the wiring installation can be improved (diagrams coming soon). And if so, let's add it to your Vera network:

1. Select the Devices tab in your Vera app. Then click on the gray "+ Add Device" button
2. Choose Generic Z-Wave Device from the device list
3. Tap the UPPER paddle 3 times quickly
4. A new Z-Wave switch will appear on your device list

If you're unable to connect the switch successfully, try excluding it from the network using the steps shown here.
