The ZEN75 Heavy Duty Switch is fully integrated with the Z-Box Hub and will be recognized by the hub out of the box. Follow the simple steps below to add the switch to your system.
It's best to use the WEB UI when adding Z-Wave devices to your Z-Box Hub but for your convenience, we included instructions for the mobile app as well, just scroll down to access them.
ADD THE ZEN75 FROM THE WEB UI:
1. Open your Z-Box web interface in the Internet browser and select Settings (the gear icon) from the sidebar navigation menu.
2. The screen will display all of your existing devices.
3. Click on the + Add device blue button in the top right corner.
4. Select Z-Wave Device in the next screen.
5. Make sure you can physically access your ZEN75 switch and click Start on the screen.
6. While the hub is in inclusion mode, tap the UPPER paddle 3 times as quickly as possible; the LED indicator will blink blue to signal communication and turn green for 3 seconds if inclusion is successful or turn red for 3 seconds if the pairing attempt fails.
7. Once the device is found, you'll be able to rename it and assign it to its room. The ZEN75 switch will create one device for on/off operation and one remote control device for scene control (multi-tap) programming. Click Next and then Finish once you rename and organize all of the newly created devices.
We've included some screenshots below showing how the ZEN75 will display in the Z-Box Web UI:

TROUBLESHOOTING:
If your switch is not found on the Z-Box Hub, you may need to factory reset it first.
- If the factory reset does not resolve the inclusion issue, please exclude the device from the hub. This works even if the device has never been added to your hub before):
- Open your Z-Box web interface in the Internet browser and select Settings (the gear icon) from the sidebar navigation menu. A list of your existing devices will appear.
- Click the red - Remove device button in the top right corner.
- Select Z-Wave Device in the next screen.
- Make sure you can physically access your ZEN71 switch and click Start on the screen.
- Tap the bottom paddle on the switch 3 times as quickly as possible. The LED indicator will start blinking and the Z-Box Hub will display a "Device removed" message.
If the LED indicator on the switch isn't blinking, make sure that the device turns on the light from the paddles. If it works well physically from the paddles, try a factory reset and then follow the inclusion steps above.
