This is product is discontinued and replaced with the ZEN04 or ZEN15. What does that mean?
Get quick and reliable on/off control of both plugs using your Wink app.
You'll also be able to use the ZEN25 Double Plug in custom schedules and Robots. However, you won't have access to the ZEN25Double Plugs's advanced settings and parameter inputs. You also won't be able to monitor the device's energy consumption - there's just no way to do this in Wink's interface. The same applies for other Z-Wave Plus devices with advanced options and energy monitoring. Even so, you'll still be able to take advantage of the Double Plug's main purpose: quick and reliable on/off control of up to two lights or small appliances.
You can include the Double Plug to Wink automatically or manually. For auto-inclusion, just follow these steps:
- Click on Hubs in your Wink app
- Click on Settings (the three dots in the upper right corner)
- Click on your hub (most likely named Wink Hub)
- Scroll down to Settings and click on Z-Wave Controls
- Click on Inclusion Mode
- Plug the Double Plug into a grounded 120 VAC receptacle you’re planning to use it at (it doesn’t need to be close need to be close to the hub).
- Rename your Double Plug and start automating!
If auto-inclusion didn't work out for some reason, you can always include it manually. Manual inclusion is also helpful for troubleshooting purposes and if you need to exclude the device in the future. Here's how to manually include your Double Plug to Wink:
- Plug the Double Plug into a grounded receptacle you’re planning to use it at (it doesn’t need to be close to the hub)
- Click on Hubs
- Click on Settings (the three dots in the upper right corner)
- Click on your hub (most likely named Wink Hub)
- Scroll down to Settings and click on Z-Wave Controls
- Click on Inclusion Mode
- Click the Z-Wave button 3 times very quickly
- Rename your Double Plug and start automating!
NOTE: Whether you include the device automatically or manually, you’ll see 4 new on/off devices in your app:
- 2 channels for on/off control
- 1 channel for on/off monitoring (the USB port reporting charging / charged status, no control)
- 1 master node to control both outlets at the same time and to access and adjust advanced settings in (if your hub supports parameter input)
If you've given the above steps a try but the app isn't finding the device, here's what to try.
