This is product is discontinued and does not have a replacement yet. New product in development. What does that mean?
The ZSE19 Multisiren should pair to your Hubitat hub instantly without any additional set up because it is officially integrated.
It means the advanced settings for the ZSE19 should be accessible from the device view in your hub. If you don’t have access, you’ll want to verify that your hub’s platform is up-to-date and use the Z-Wave parameter tool shown here.
If you're using the latest Hubitat C-7 hub, you'll want to check the S2 Authenticated box when prompted on the S2 security screen since the Multisiren supports S2 SmartStart. Older generations of the Hubitat do not support S2 security so you can go ahead and follow the inclusion instructions without worrying about the security level.
The steps for auto and manual inclusion of your ZSE19 Multisiren to Hubitat are below:
Auto-include to Hubitat:
-
Open Hubitat in your Internet browser
-
Go to Devices
-
Click on + Add Device in the top right corner
-
Click on Z-Wave
-
Click on Start Z-Wave Inclusion
-
While the app says is in inclusion mode, insert the four batteries, making sure they're oriented correctly
-
Rename and confirm the found device
Manually include to Hubitat:
-
Open Hubitat in your Internet browser
-
Go to Devices
-
Click on + Add Device in the top right corner
-
Click on Z-Wave
-
Click on Start Z-Wave Inclusion
-
While the app says is in inclusion mode, click the Z-Wave button 3 times as quickly as possible
-
Rename and confirm the found device
If your Multisiren is having trouble connecting to Hubitat, it may not be configuring correctly and needs to be excluded first. The process is simple, serves as a soft reset for the ZSE19, and can be done even if the Multisiren hasn’t been added to the hub before.
If you can’t include or exclude your Multisiren, please send us a message!
