This is product is discontinued and does not have a replacement yet. New product in development. What does that mean?
You can use the ZSE19 Multisiren right out of the box since Hubitat has officially integrated the device.
If the advanced settings aren’t automatically showing up in the device view of the ZSE19, you can use the Z-Wave parameter tool to customize your Multisiren. Your hub should also be operating on the most up-to-date Hubitat platform version before you use the tool. Once you’ve checked your hub version, you can use the steps below to access the parameter tool.
-
Open Hubitat in your browser.
-
Click on Drivers Code in the side menu.
-
In the top right corner, click on "+New Driver" and paste the code from the following link to access the code for the driver, then copy ALL of the code from the page.
-
Click Save in the top right corner.
-
You'll see a Basic Z-Wave tool driver in your Drivers Code list now.
-
Assign the driver to the device by opening to the device view and selecting the Basic Z-Wave tool from the drop-down menu under Device Type. Note the original device type the product was assigned so you can revert back to it in the last step.
-
Fill out the parameter number, size, and value you'd like to update (find the full list in your product manual).
-
Click Update Device.
-
Repeat the last 2 steps for all settings you'd like to adjust.
-
Once done, re-assign the original device type to your device.
If you prefer not to use the custom driver, you can try out this Z-Wave Universal Device Scanner to access any parameters that may not be available yet in the custom driver. Please note that use of this driver is intended for expert users; use at your own risk: https://community.hubitat.com/t/release-z-wave-universal-device-scanner/97912
