Trouble getting your ZSE11 sensor to respond to Z-Wave commands? Try repairing the Z-Wave network!
It's possible the didn't form the most efficient route to communicate with the sensor, or it's out of range. You’ll want to start by checking that your Hubitat platform is up-to-date.
Then use these instructions for refreshing your Z-Wave connections:
-
Open Hubitat in your Internet browser
-
Go to Settings
-
Click on Z-Wave Details
-
Click on Repair Z-Wave
You should receive confirmation that the repair was successful once it's complete. If it's not already included, try adding your Q Sensor to Hubitat following these instructions.
Still having trouble displaying correctly in Hubitat? Try these other troubleshooting steps:
- Exclude and re-include the sensor in case it's a simple configuration issue. The process will act as a soft reset.
- Strengthen the Z-Wave network by adding a Z-Wave signal repeater (or any non-battery powered Z-Wave device) between the sensor's location and hub. It will help the hub reach and communicate with the ZSE11 better.
- Try excluding and re-including the sensor closer to the hub. If it pairs and works without a problem, then the previous location may have been out of range, or surrounded by signal interferences like glass or metal elements.
