Compatibility lies in your Z-Wave system's software, and not all software supports multi sensors like the ZSE11 Q Sensor.
Let's start with the systems that DO support the ZSE11 Q Sensor:
- Z-Box Hub (recommended for Zooz devices)
- Home Assistant
- HomeSeer (Z-Wave Plus or Z-Wave JS Front-End only)
- Hubitat (with custom driver)
- Homey
- openHAB
- SmartThings Hub (custom device handler needed, download here)
Systems that DON'T support the ZSE11 Q Sensor:
- 2GIG
- ADT
- Alarm.com
- Honeywell
- Qolsys
- Ring Alarm
- Wink
- Vivint
- All other alarm panels
Will this device work with my alarm panel?
No.
Most alarm panels, like Alarm.com, generally support single switches, door locks, select thermostats, and other approved devices on their compatibility list. We recommend reaching out to your alarm panel provider to confirm compatibility and check for any upcoming device integrations.
Since the device follows the Z-Wave protocol and is Z-Wave certified, integration is dependent on your alarm panel provider. Unfortunately, while we can request integration, we don’t have control over whether the device is fully recognized—this would need to be supported by your alarm panel provider.

Can I connect the device directly to my Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or other smart speaker?
No. Smart speakers like Alexa or Google are not equipped with a Z-Wave chip and are not Z-Wave gateway controllers. Without a compatible Z-Wave hub, no Z-Wave products will not function correctly with Alexa or Google alone.
However, if your Z-Wave hub supports a Smart speaker integration (like Z-Box, SmartThings, and Hubitat do), this would allow voice control of your Z-Wave devices from your smart speakers.
