Adding the ZAC36 Valve Actuator to Hubitat gives you access to the advanced settings since it is officially integrated!
It should allow you to access the available advanced settings – if it doesn’t, the custom device driver will help. You'll want to confirm your Hubitat hub is on the latest platform version, if the settings aren't showing up for you. With the platform version updated, you should see the settings under Preferences in Hubitat (remember to save the device after each change).
Here are the steps for adding the custom device driver:
-
Open Hubitat in your browser.
-
Click on Drivers Code in the side menu.
-
In the top right corner, click on "+New Driver" and paste the code from the following link to access the code for the driver, then copy ALL of the code from the page.
-
Click Save in the top right corner.
-
You'll see a "Zooz ZAC36 Titan Valve Actuator" driver in your Drivers Code list now.
-
Now add your device to Hubitat or if you already have, assign the driver to it by going to the device view and selecting the driver name from the drop-down menu under Device Type. Then click Update Device.
-
Don't skip this step: Click the Configure button, then Save, and reload the device view or refresh page for all of the new settings to appear.
If you prefer not to use the custom driver, you can try out this Z-Wave Universal Device Scanner to access any parameters that may not be available yet in the custom driver. Please note that use of this driver is intended for expert users; use at your own risk: https://community.hubitat.com/t/release-z-wave-universal-device-scanner/97912
