Here is a full list of advanced settings (parameters) for the ZEN51 Dry Contact Relay VER. 1.10 firmware:
LED Indicator
Parameter 1: Enable or disable the LED indicator to reflect the current on/off status of the connected load (LED on when the load is on, LED off when the load is off).
Values:
0 – LED Indicator disabled;
1 – LED Indicator enabled (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Auto Turn-Off Timer
Parameter 2: Use this parameter to set the time after which you want the device connected to the relay to automatically turn off once it has been turned on. The number entered as value corresponds to the number of minutes or seconds (set the unit in Par. 10).
Values: 0 – timer disabled (default); 1 – 65535.
Size: 2 byte dec.
Auto Turn-On Timer
Parameter 3: Use this parameter to set the time after which you want the device connected to the relay to automatically turn on once it has been turned off. The number entered as value corresponds to the number of minutes or seconds (set the unit in Par. 10).
Values: 0 – timer disabled (default); 1 – 65535.
Size: 2 byte dec.
Timer Unit
Parameter 10: Choose between seconds and minutes as the unit for the timers in parameters 2 and 3.
Values: 1 – minutes (default); 2 – seconds.
Size: 1 byte dec
On / Off Status After Power Failure
Parameter 4: Set the on/off status for the relay after power failure.
Values:
0 – forced to OFF (regardless of state prior to power outage);
1 – forced to ON (regardless of state prior to power outage);
2 – remembers and restores on/off status after power failure (default);
Size: 1 byte dec
Enable/Disable Scene Control
Parameter 5: Enable or disable scene control functionality for quick multi-tap triggers (works best with momentary wall switches).
Values: 0 – scene control disabled (default). 1 – scene control enabled.
Size: 1 byte dec
Smart Bulb Mode: Enable/Disable Switch / Z-Wave Control
Parameter 6: Enable or disable physical and/or Z-Wave on/off control. If disabled, you’ll only be able to control the connected light via Z-Wave. Scenes and other functionality will still be available through paddles.
Values: 0 – button and wall switch control disabled, Z-Wave control enabled (the relay will still report on/off control to the hub whenever the button or switch are toggled). 1 – button, wall switch, and Z-Wave control enabled (default). 2 – button, wall switch, and Z-Wave control control disabled (the relay will still report on/off control to the hub whenever the button or switch are toggled physically or via Z-Wave).
Size: 1 byte dec
External Switch Type
Parameter 7: Choose the type of wall switch connected to the relay and its on/off behavior.
Values: 0 – toggle switch (device changes status when switch changes status); 1 – momentary switch (one-button switch like the ZAC99); 2 – toggle switch with fixed actions (always toggle up for on, always toggle down for off); 3 – 3-way impulse control (for selected 3-way scenarios, refer to the notes in the wiring instructions for your set-up); 4 – garage door mode (simulates a momentary push button switch in the Z-Wave interface, used for garage door opener applications). Default: 2.
Size: 1 byte dec
External Switch Multiple Click Detection
Parameter 12: Enable or disable the external switch multiple click detection.
Values: 0 – disable the external switch multiple click detection. Clicking the external switch 3 times quickly for inclusion/exclusion will be disabled, and the central scene actions (multi-tap) will be disabled. 1 – Enable the external switch multiple click detection (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Association Reports
Parameter 8: Choose the type of reports the relay will send to the hub for Z-Wave and external switch control.
Values: 0 – binary switch reports for Z-Wave control and basic reports for switch control; 1 – binary switch reports for both Z-Wave and switch control (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Relay Type Behavior
Parameter 9: Choose if you'd like the relay to act as a normally open (on when the circuit is closed, off when the circuit it open), or a normally closed relay (off when the circuit is closed, on when the circuit it open).
Values: 0 – NO normally open, great for most applications (default); 1 – NC normally closed (change only if you have expert knowledge of electrical circuits).
Size: 1 byte dec
Impulse Duration for 3-Way Impulse Control
Parameter 11: Choose the duration of the impulse if you're using the relay with 3-way impulse control (parameter 7 set to value 3).
Values: 2 – 200 (seconds). Default: 10.
Size: 1 byte dec
MANUAL CONTROL FROM THE Z-WAVE BUTTON
3 x tap: enter inclusion (pairing) or exclusion mode
2 x tap and hold (the third time) for 15 seconds: factory reset
