How to Add Your ZEN71 On/Off Switch to your Z-Wave System

Once your ZEN71 is installed and working manually, it's time to pair it to your Z-Wave hub!  

By pairing or including the switch, we mean adding or connecting it. Here's how to include your On/Off Switch to your Z-Wave system:

 

1. Put your Z-Wave controller into inclusion mode
2. Tap the upper paddle of the switch 3 times very quickly to finalize the inclusion process
3. A new on/off device will appear on your controller's device list

If you try including the switch and find it doesn't add to your system, here's what to try first

 

* If you’re using an S2 hub, it will ask you to enter the DSK PIN or scan the QR code printed on the metal faceplate of the switch to complete SmartStart inclusion.
