If you've successfully installed and included your ZEN54 0-10V dimmer, but it's offline or unresponsive to Z-Wave commands, please try the troubleshooting steps below.
Range is determined by the individual structure of your home and the strength of your mesh network; sometimes, interferences like metal, stone, or certain glass elements and thick walls can affect the range. If you're seeing connectivity issues with your device, here are several things to try:
1. If there's a way to refresh your Z-Wave network, start with this. A refresh or a heal will help configure your network and allow your hub to find the most effective communication route to the relay.
2. Try excluding and re-including the relay directly from the installation location. This helps ensure that the hub can devise the most efficient route of communication to the device. This can happen when you include a device near the hub and then move it to the installation location.
3. Try bringing the device and the hub closer together, then exclude it and re-include it from the new spot. If the device is added, stays connected, and is responsive to remote commands, it's possible the initial location was out of the hub's range, or there are too many interferences in that area.
