ZEN78 High Power Relay Change Log

Here are the changes we made to the ZEN78 model so far.

VER. 1.10 (released 09/2025)

Original release

Hardware: 1

Energy monitoring
Overload protection
800 Series Z-Wave chip
Two double-pole 40A relays (for both input and output)
Two screw terminals for an external dry contact wall switch

Firmware: 1.10

Smart Start
S2 Authenticated Security
Z-Wave Long Range ready (support direct, no-mesh communication)
Power reporting frequency and threshold advanced settings

VER. 1.20 (released 04/2026)

Firmware: 1.20

Fixed a bug where a ZEN78 powered on outside the Z-Wave network and later added would fail to start scheduled kWh reporting correctly. Now, the device reports kWh properly regardless of when it is added to the network and follows parameter 6 settings as expected.
