Hard reset can help with a variety of configuration issues.
It's also a good idea to try reset if your Double Switch is unresponsive to manual or Z-Wave commands, especially if you already gave exclusion a try without any luck. To reset the Double Switch:
- Press and hold the lower paddle on the dimmer for at least 15 seconds until the LED indicators start flashing, then release.
- Then immediately press and hold the upper paddle on the dimmer for at least 15 seconds. The LED indicators will flash again to confirm successful reset.
Just remember that hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults.
