This is product is discontinued and replaced with ZEN72.
If your ZEN22 switch is showing “offline”, a Z-Wave Network Repair could help resolve any range or configuration issues it could be experiencing.
Check if your Hubitat hub has the latest platform version installed before running the Z-Wave Network Repair. This will repair your mesh network connections and improve the communication route between the ZEN22 switch and hub. Here are the steps to perform it:
-
Open Hubitat in your Internet browser
-
Go to Settings
-
Click on Z-Wave Details
-
Click on Repair Z-Wave
Once the process is finished, a "Z-Wave Network Repair finished" confirmation should appear once it successfully runs. Then you can try adding the switch to your network again.
Take a look at these tricks that have helped other users in the past:
-
It may help to try exclusion. If the switch did not properly configure on the first attempt, then removing and re-adding the device can help improve the communication route between the hub and switch.
-
You could also add another non-battery powered Z-Wave device, or a dedicated Z-Wave signal repeater, to the network if you have one available. After another Network Repair the hub should then establish a better communication route to the switch with an additional Z-Wave device added between the two.
-
Another helpful trick is installing the switch in a closer location to the hub. If its current location is out of the hub’s range, it may be having trouble communicating. Once moved, another exclusion and inclusion will help the hub find a new communication route to the ZEN22.
