This is product is discontinued and replaced with the ZEN04 or ZEN15. What does that mean?
Your ZEN25 Double Plug could be displaying as “offline” in Hubitat if it is out of range or didn’t configure properly. The problem might be fixed with a simple solution: Z-Wave Network Repair.
You’ll want to see if your Hubitat platform version is up-to-date first. Then you can use Z-Wave Repair to refresh your connections. Use the steps below to repair your Z-Wave network in Hubitat:
-
Open Hubitat in your Internet browser
-
Go to Settings
-
Click on Z-Wave Details
-
Click on Repair Z-Wave
Before you can try to include your Double Plug to Hubitat again, your hub should confirm the repair was a success with a "Z-Wave Network Repair finished" message. Then use these instructions to pair the ZEN25 to your network again.
If your Double Plug still has trouble connecting, try some of these troubleshooting tips:
- If you haven’t already, exclude the ZEN25 from Hubitat before pairing it. The process acts as a soft reset to help the device be connected easier, improve communication, and configure correctly.
- If you have one available, extend your Z-Wave signal with any non-battery powered Z-Wave device, or a signal repeater, to your network. This will help the hub find a faster route to the Double Plug if it is located far away or is experiencing interference. Perform another Z-Wave Repair for the additional device to be recognized and route to be formed.
- Plug the ZEN25 in an outlet that’s located closer to the hub to eliminate the possibility of a range issue. You’ll want to exclude and connect the device to the hub again for it to find the new route to the Double Plug.
Please don’t hesitate to send us a message if you’re still having trouble connecting your ZEN25!
