How to Access Advanced Settings for My ZAC36 Valve Actuator on Vera

By adding the ZAC36 Valve Actuator to your Vera, you can access all of its advanced settings!

Personalize the ZAC36 to your installation by adjusting settings like temperature reporting and auto test mode. See the full list of advanced settings here.

 

Follow the steps below for changing the settings / parameters on your ZAC36; we've used the Auto Test Mode setting as an example:

 

  1. Open your Vera online interface (the browser dashboard, not the app)
  2. Click on the Zooz Valve Actuator ZAC36
  3. Go to Device Options
  4. Click on Add configuration settings
  5. Put in the following:

To set the Auto Test Mode setting:

  1. Variable = 61 [1 – Enable when excluded; 2 – Enable when included; 3 – Enable when included/excluded (default)]
  2. Data Size = 1 byte dec
  3. Desired Value = 1
  4. Click on Save Changes
