Hard reset can help resolve any configuration or communication issues your ZEN74 Dimmer may be experiencing.
You could try excluding the device first, which will act as a soft reset. If your dimmer is not responsive to Z-Wave commands, then it's time to hard reset the device:
- Hold the toggle DOWN for 10 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking.
- Release the toggle, and immediately after, toggle the switch DOWN 5 times to complete the reset
- The LED indicator will flash blue 3 times and turn red for 3 seconds to confirm successful reset.
A hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults.
Once you've reset the dimmer, try including it to your Z-Wave hub again to see if that resolved the issue.
