Including can also be called adding or pairing; all words that mean joining the sensor with your hub.
You'll need to include your ZSE42 sensor to your network before mounting it in its final location.
To auto-include your ZSE42 Water Leak XS Sensor:
- Put your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (see your hub's manual for instructions since each brand is different). If you’re using an S2 hub, it may ask you to enter the DSK key printed on the back cover sticker to complete secure inclusion
- The LED indicator will start blinking for around 10 seconds and the sensor will join the network automatically
To manually include your ZSE42:
- Put the Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (see your hub's manual for instructions since each brand is different)
- Click the Z-Wave button 3 times quickly.
- The LED indicator will start flashing to confirm inclusion is complete
- The new device should appear on your hub's device list
If you've tried auto and manual inclusion but find the ZSE42 sensor is not including, please being by trying to exclude the device, then including again.
