If you're having issues including your ZEN15 Power Switch, try excluding device instead.
Even if your ZEN15 Power Switch was never successfully paired with Wink, you can still exclude the device. Exclusion acts as a soft reset and can solve a host of configuration issues. Try excluding the device using the steps below:
1. Click on Hubs
2. Click on Settings (the three dots in the upper right corner)
3. Click on your hub (most likely named Wink Hub)
5. Scroll down to Settings and click on Z-Wave Controls
6. Click on Exclusion Mode
7. Press and release the Z-Wave button 3 times very quickly
8. While the app will NOT confirm exclusion of the device, your Wink hub will go from blinking blue to a solid green light to confirm the device was successfully excluded. Wait for the LED indicator to turn green before exiting Exclusion.
After exclusion, you can give inclusion another try using these steps. But if that still doesn't do the trick, here are some other helpful troubleshoot we've found to be useful:
- Try the exclusion process once again. It's possible that the commands just didn't go through the first time.
- Bring the ZEN15 Power Switch closer to Wink. If it includes successfully from a different spot, the previous spot may be out of range.
- Once you put Wink into inclusion mode, press and release the Z-Wave button very quickly more than 3 times to ensure the command has gone through.
- If you are trying to include the device as a secure one, please make sure your controller supports AES signal encryption.
