Recommended Accessories for Your ZSE19 Multisiren

The ZSE19 Multisiren is a nifty device so make sure it can communicate with your hub!

While the siren has a Z-Wave range of up to 100 feet within line of sight, if there are no other signal extending Z-Wave devices around, and it's located far away from the hub, it can have trouble sending and receiving messages. Establish a strong line of communication between your hub and Multisiren by adding Z-Wave signal repeaters to your mesh network.

 

A signal repeater can be any non-battery powered Z-Wave device placed between the ZSE19 and hub to help it talk to the hub. It can be a smart plug or switch, like the ZEN25 Double Plug or ZEN15 Power Switch, which can give you additional Z-Wave control of other devices in your home. Or it can be a dedicated Z-Wave signal repeater, like this one here.

 

While these repeaters are not necessary to have, if you find your ZSE19 is having trouble staying online, they could help resolve any range or communication issues.

 

If the siren is located near the hub or has plenty of signal extenders near it, and your siren is having issues keeping connected, check out the helpful troubleshoots under your hub specific folder.
