-
Tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner and tap Settings
- Tap Z-Wave Utilities
- Tap Z-Wave Exclusion
- While the app is searching for a device, click the Z-Wave button 3 times as quickly as possible
- The app will indicate when the device is successfully removed. Tap Done.
Once exclusion is confirmed successful, try including the ZSE41 Sensor again. If exclusion still didn't solve the problem, here are some other things to try:
- Give the exclusion process another try. It's possible that the command didn't go through the first time.
- Bring the Open|Close Sensor closer to SmartThings. If it includes successfully from a different spot, the previous spot may be out of range.
- Once you put SmartThings into inclusion mode, click the Z-Wave button very quickly 4-5 times to ensure the command has gone through.
