How Do I Perform Hard Reset on My ZEN51 Dry Contact Relay?

A factory reset can help resolve some ZEN51 configuration issues.

When to perform a factory reset:

  1. You have tried to exclude the relay from your network
  2. It is unresponsive to manual and Z-Wave control

 

A hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults.

 

Steps to factory reset the ZEN51:

  1. Ensure the relay is powered on
  2. Click the Z-Wave button once and immediately after, press and hold it down for 15 seconds. The LED indicator will flash during the process and turn red for 3 seconds to confirm a successful reset

 

After resetting the unit, try including it to your Z-Wave hub again to see if that helped resolve any issues you were seeing.
